You’ll Never Be Satisfied With A Normal Breakfast Again When You See What He’s Making

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and all, but there’s something about eggs and cereal that makes me never want to eat again.

In fact, most people I know skip out on this quintessential meal for more reasons than one, whether it be taste-based or rooted in boredom. I happen to fall into the latter camp. I’m all about variety, and that’s something with which I’m never met when I stare into the cabinet for a few minutes every morning before ultimately deciding to drown my insides with coffee.

But those feelings changed when this little video came into my life, which is a really dramatic thing to say about a video of some dude making an omelette. That being said, you might feel me when you see what happens when he cuts into this Japanese take on the classic egg dish.

Before we get to the video, though, I’d like you to meet my new favorite thing in the history of things. Ladies and gents, I present to you the almighty omurice.

The name itself is a contraction of omu, meaning omelette and raisu, meaning rice. Basically, these are little egg bundles that are filled with rice that’s been cooked in broth, and I need one in my face right this second.

This particular omurice dish, which is made at The Yoshokuya Eat, Eat in Kyoto, Japan, has garnered quite a bit of attention online. You’ll understand why when you short out your laptop with all of the drooling that’s about to go down.

People in the comments section on the original post are being a bunch of haters and saying that this looks nasty, but I don’t need their negativity in my life and I will be planning my next big vacation around rice and eggs. Just let me be great.
