10 Celebs With The Highest IQ’S

Jul 21, 2016

They’ve got it all…

We love to follow the the lives of celebrities. So much so that we make reality TV shows following the lives of celebrities and make celebrities out of the people that are on reality TV (I’m looking at you Keeping up with the Kardashians and Jersey Shore). We get so immersed with these stars that sometimes it easy to forget that there are real actors, actresses, and celebrities with an IQ higher than a potato.

The average IQ in the U.S. is around 98. By today’s standards, Albert Einstein’s IQ was estimated to be 160, while Galileo Galilei would have scored an estimated 182. In this very list, we have celebrities that beat Albert Einstein and match Galileo Galilei. Can you guess which celebs they are?

Natalie Portman – 140

20 Celebs With The Highest IQ’S

As one of the most stunningly beautiful and talented actresses out there, it’s no surprise that she’s also a smarty pants. She has an IQ of 140 and it shows. She earned her bachelors degree from Harvard and speaks over six languages.

Arnold Schwarzenegger – 135

20 Celebs With The Highest IQ’S

Actor, body builder, gov’na. When you are famous for quotes like, “I think that gay marriage should be between a man and a woman,” it’s hard to believe the originator of those words has an IQ of 135 but there ya have it.

Shakira – 140

Shakira – 140

As one of the most powerful woman on the planet, it’s not hard to believe this gorgeous lady is also borderline genius. She’s extremely successful in the music industry and still has time to explore her love of world cultures and open up two schools.

Madonna – 140

Madonna – 140

All hail queen Madonna. But seriously. No one rises to Madonna’s fame without having some brains attached. She’s constantly reinventing herself and her image miles ahead of what her fans expect. And if that doesn’t convince you, she was also a straight A student.

James Franco – 130

James Franco – 130

The dude is basically addicted to education. When he was filming Spiderman 3, he enrolled in UCLA (again) to take 62 credits per term. PER TERM. (I can barely keep up with 23!) To make you feel even less smart, for graduate school, James simultaneously enrolled in Columbia University, New York University, and Brooklyn College to get a Masters in fine arts and then moved on to Yale to get a PH.D. Whoa.

Kate Beckinsale – 132

Kate Beckinsale – 132

Before her first role in “Much Ado About Nothing,” Kate was studiously studying at Oxford. She studied Modern Languages and is fluent in French, Russian and German but quit in her third year to pursue acting.

Ke$ha – 140

Ke$ha – 140

Back in high school, Ke$ha scored high on her SATs…in fact she had a near perfect score of 1500. At 17 however, she dropped out to sign a deal with Dr. Luke’s record label. Fast forward to today and we find out that Dr. Luke is actually a scumbag and is ruining Ke$ha’s life. We hope that Ke$ha can use those brains to get her out of an extremely messy lawsuit.

Dolph Lundgren – 160

Dolph Lundgren – 160

Remember the Soviet boxer in Rocky IV? That’s this dude. He carried his on -screen persona to his personal life and became an accomplished Karate captain for the Swedish Kyokushin karate team. After graduating from Washington State, he continued his education with a master’s degree in chemical engineering. He was awarded a Fullbright Scholarship to MIT in 1983 but turned down the offer to become Grace Jones’ bodyguard where they fell in love and eventually married.

Rowan Atkinson – 178

Rowan Atkinson – 178

Known best for his slow witted character, Mr. Bean, Rowan is ANYTHING but that. Rowan originally studied electrical engineering at New Castle University where he received his degree. During his studies however, he became interested in acting and eventually made a career out of it (after getting his masters at The Queen’s College, Oxford)

Nicole Kidman – 132

Nicole Kidman – 132

Nicole Kidman grew up in a house of intellectuals (Her mother is a nursing instructor and her father a biochemist, clinical psychologist and author). A smart kid with some smart parents, Nicole attended school at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, the Phillip Street Theatre in Sydney as well as the Australian Theatre for Young People for acting where (obviously) her studies paid off. She’s know to teach herself new skills like knife throwing to prepare for new roles.
